PI 簡介

戚兵，上海紐約大學物理副教授（tenure-track），博士生導師，美國光學學會會士，同時 為華東師范大學精密光譜科學與技術國家重點實驗室兼職教授。戚兵本科畢業(yè)于南京大學物理系，之后獲得大連理工大學博士學位。先后在清華大學，美國弗吉尼亞理工大學，加拿大多倫多大學，美國橡樹嶺國家實驗室，美國田納西大學以及思科公司從事量子通信及光纖傳感器研究工作。戚兵博士于 2023 年加入上海紐約大學并創(chuàng)建量子光子學實驗室，目前的主要研究方向為量子保密通信及網(wǎng)絡。

崗位職責：

作為博士后研究員，您的主要職責包括：

? 在量子光子學領域開展前沿研究，重點關注量子通信、量子網(wǎng)絡和光學傳感。

? 參與量子光子實驗室的建設與管理。

? 協(xié)助研究生及本科生的科研指導工作。

? 在國際學術期刊及國內(nèi)外學術會議上發(fā)表研究成果。

? 作為項目負責人（PI）或聯(lián)合負責人（co-PI），參與科研經(jīng)費申請工作。

資格要求：

? 具有物理學、電子工程或相關領域的博士學位。

? 具有扎實的光纖光學實驗經(jīng)驗。

? 具有良好的英語聽說讀寫能力。

? 優(yōu)先考慮：具備相干光通信或連續(xù)變量量子通信研究經(jīng)驗的候選人。

Postdoctoral Position Available in Prof. Bing Qi’s group at NYU Shanghai

We are seeking one or two dynamic individuals with a Ph.D. in physics, electrical and computer  engineering (ECE), or a related field to join our cutting-edge quantum photonics research team at NYU Shanghai. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in experimental quantum communications or fiber optic communications.

Responsibilities:

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:

? Conduct cutting-edge research on quantum photonics, with a focus on quantum communication, quantum networking, and optical sensing.

? Contribute to the development and management of a quantum photonics lab.

? Co-supervise graduate and undergraduate students.

? Publish research papers in scientific journals and present results at conferences.

? Contribute to the development of funding proposals as a Principal Investigator (PI) or co- PI.

Key Qualifications:

? Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or a related field.

? Strong hands-on experience in fiber optic experiments.

? Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Chinese is desirable.

? Desirable: Previous experience in coherent optical communication or continuous- variable quantum communication.

? Desirable: Previous experience in optical lab management.
