Position: Postdoctoral Researcher in Fungal Molecular Biology/Structural Biology and Protein Science

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and curious postdoctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary research team at Zhejiang University. The focus of the research is on fungal biology and biotechnology, with an emphasis on fungal molecular biology, structural biology, and protein science. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge research projects exploring the molecular mechanisms underlying fungal pathogenicity and their potential biotechnological applications.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct independent research on fungal molecular biology, protein structure-function relationships, and associated biochemical pathways.

· Employ various techniques such as molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, structural biology methods (X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, NMR), and bioinformatics analysis.

· Investigate the regulation of fungal secondary metabolites, virulence factors, and stress responses.

· Collaborate with other team members and contribute to the writing of research papers and grant proposals.

· Mentor and supervise graduate students.

Salary: The salary will be in accordance with Zhejiang University's postdoctoral salary standards.

浙江大學(xué)現(xiàn)招聘一名充滿好奇心且富有責(zé)任感的博士后研究員加入我們跨學(xué)科的研究團(tuán)隊(duì)。該職位的研究方向主要聚焦于真菌生物學(xué)和生物技術(shù)，特別是在真菌分子生物學(xué)、結(jié)構(gòu)生物學(xué)和蛋白質(zhì)科學(xué)領(lǐng)域。成功候選人將參與前沿的研究項(xiàng)目，探索真菌致病機(jī)制及其潛在的生物技術(shù)應(yīng)用。

主要職責(zé)：

· 獨(dú)立開(kāi)展真菌分子生物學(xué)研究，研究蛋白質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu)-功能關(guān)系及相關(guān)的生物化學(xué)通路。

· 運(yùn)用分子克隆、蛋白質(zhì)表達(dá)與純化、結(jié)構(gòu)生物學(xué)方法（X射線晶體學(xué)、冷凍電鏡、核磁共振）、生物信息學(xué)分析等技術(shù)。

· 研究真菌次級(jí)代謝物、致病因子和應(yīng)激反應(yīng)的調(diào)控機(jī)制。

· 與團(tuán)隊(duì)成員合作，參與撰寫(xiě)科研論文及申請(qǐng)科研項(xiàng)目資助。

· 指導(dǎo)研究生。

崗位要求

Requirements:

· PhD in Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

· Experience in fungal molecular biology, protein science, or structural biology (X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, or NMR preferred).

· Strong background in protein expression and purification techniques.

· Experience with molecular cloning, genetic manipulation, and functional assays.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

· Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to contribute to advancing scientific knowledge.

· Curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a passion for scientific discovery.
